Privacy Policy
Privacy and data philosophy
CreditFixerToolkit is designed with a local-first philosophy. The desktop application stores client workflow data inside an encrypted workspace on the user's own machine instead of uploading daily client records to a hosted cloud CRM.
Website data and desktop client data are separate.
The website supports marketing, demo downloads, checkout, support, and license activation. The desktop app handles client records, disputes, tasks, notes, reports, local workspace files, and backups.
Local-first architecture
Client data entered into the desktop application remains stored locally within the encrypted workspace database. CreditFixerToolkit does not operate a cloud database for customer workspace records, client files, SSNs, credit reports, notes, or dispute history.
Website data
The website may process basic technical information needed to operate the site, serve pages, support downloads, and troubleshoot issues. This website data is separate from the desktop application's local client workspace.
Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe. CreditFixerToolkit does not store full payment card numbers on this website or inside the desktop application.
License activation
The full desktop build requires license activation. Activation is used to confirm purchase status and enforce the included device limit. Licensing data is separate from client workspace data.
Email and support
If you contact support, the information you provide may be used to respond to your request, troubleshoot installer or activation issues, and assist with purchase-related questions. Do not send client SSNs, full credit reports, or unnecessary private client records through support email.
Backups and passwords
Users are responsible for protecting workspace passwords, backup passwords, backup files, and their own computer systems. CreditFixerToolkit cannot recover encrypted local workspace data if the required password or backup credentials are lost.
User responsibility
Because the workspace is stored locally, users are responsible for maintaining backups, securing their devices, controlling access to their computer, and using the software lawfully and responsibly.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated over time to reflect product changes, website changes, licensing changes, payment flow changes, or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page.
